The pedestrian streets of Bochum central city

As a main city of the province of North-Rhein Westfalia (Nordrhein-Westfalen), Bochum has accommodated more than 374 thousand people (Dec. 2010) in 145.4 square kilometers. Maybe the city is not as attractive as some other German cities like Nürnberg, Bremen, Aachen, or Münster, but the street are well planned and here and there signs of good street design are seen. The pedestrian streets and routes have made a network in downtown Bochum. Here some photos are the streets of Bochum are seen.
